Theateradvies advises international financial center in Istanbul

A conference hall with 2250 seats is part of the new international financial center in Istanbul (IFC), where in addition to conferences, the venue will also host trade shows and musicals. The complex includes nine movie theaters, a shopping center and schools.

Theateradvies was asked by Benart (one of the largest providers of stage machinery in Turkey) to design the conference hall. The conference hall is fully integrated into the shopping mall, where only the tip of the fly tower rises above the public square.

Theateradvies is responsible for the auditorium layout, sight lines, stage and fly tower as well as the stage machinery. Public logistics and loading facilities will also be studied.

The completion of the IFC is planned for 2017.
