A multifunctional building with six venues
In Hoofdorp, a large multifunctional culture centre has been built wherein Schouwburg de Meerse, Pier K, poppodium Duyker and the library have a new home. The building is integrated with the existing buildings of Schouwburg de Meerse and Pier K. The existing flytower and auditorium have been completely renovated. There is a new grid and an automated fly system with 40 flybars. In the Pier K’s performance area, there is a tension grid, so that volunteers as well as staff can work quickly and safely.
