Rehabilitation in a theatre
In the multifunctional auditorium in the rehabilitation centre Groot Klimmendaal, there is room for public in wheelchairs as well as beds. Groot Klimmendaal has put theatre as part of the rehabilitation process. That is unique in the Netherlands. Music, theatre and digital media are used as therapy. In this design the wish to use the space for a diverse set of activities has been taken into account. Besides therapy, the auditorium is also programmed with music performances, courses, meetings and film.
