Culturalis

A house for amateur performing arts in the Schilderswijk in the Hague.

Princess Máxima opened the door of Culturalis in the Schilderswijk in the Hague on the 27th of October 2009. The theatre is part of Stichting Culturalis and is a place where productions made by amateur artists are made and performed. The theatre is has the goal of actively involving the neighbourhood and of supporting initiative from the neighbourhood, with an emphasis on youth. All the facilities to make the performance from beginning to end, to make and to present are available on site, for example, music studios and a décor workshop.
